Introduction:

As we all know the Admissions and the related works are a laborious process. Different departments need to work together in this process. To overcome this hassle, we have come up with the Administration portal which is designed to simplify, and curtail various time-consuming admissions-related works. Here this document illustrates how an admin configures a batch in Administration portal.

The administration portal is connected to the AOAP portal from where the applicant's admission-related details and documents are synched to the administration portal for the post-admission process like verifications, admission, withdrawal, avail bonafide certificate, and loan certification processes, and clearing applicant's queries.

Getting Started:

  • Open an internet browser (Recommended to use Google Chrome)

  • Type https://my.amrita.edu/ and click enter

  • Login with your Amrita email id and password.

  • Click ADMIN PORTAL.


Dashboard:

The dashboard has all the aggregate details about the above-mentioned details. You can click on each item to elaborate on the details.


Verifications:

This portal helps admin users to verify the name, date of birth, eligibility, and documents of a candidate that is registered through the AOAP. The admin user can mark whether they verified with the submitted proof and check the candidate's eligibility.

  • Click on the Applicants from the side menu

  • Applicants list page will load


  • Use the student filter if required.


  • Applicants list with application numbers will be listed.

  • Click on any of the application numbers.


  • The candidate page will load.


Name verification

  • Click on the Documents.


  • Go through the uploaded documents and check the required documents to verify the name.

  • Click on the verify button near the name, to mark it as verified.


DOB verification

  • Go through the uploaded documents and check the required documents to verify the DOB.

  • Click on the verify button near the DOB to mark it as verified.


Eligibility

  • Click on the Academic Details.


  • Click and expand the Eligibility Documents.

  • Go through the uploaded documents


Document verification

  • Click on the Documents

  • Step 1 - Click on the respective document name.

  • Step 2 - Click on the online verify button to mark it as verified.


Admission withdrawal:

If a candidate requests the withdrawal through the AOAP, the admin office will physically verify the submitted TC and the approval button will enable in the portal.

  • Click on the Admissions from the side menu

  • Click on the Withdrawals from the submenu

  • Click on any of the applicants whose TC is verified in the admin office.


Bonafide certificate:

In the student portal when a candidate applies for a bonafide certificate the admin office user will approve the request and the student can download it through the student portal.

  • Click on the Admissions from the side menu

  • Click on the bonafied from the submenu

  • View the applied bonafied lists


Loan certificate approval:

The admin is able to view the student's loan certificates from the portal.

  • Click on the Admissions from the side menu

  • Click on the Loan Certificate from the submenu

  • View the applied Loan Certificates lists


Clearing applicant queries:

The candidates which have queries will be listed on this page, so that the admin can respond to the queries.

  • Click on the Admissions from the side menu

  • Click on the Query from the submenu

  • View the Query lists
